GCPU 85

GCPU85 is the general-purpose application board along
with MULTI I/O-85 card. This board includes most commonly
required peripherals like PIO8155, PIO8255, 8253, RS232

MULTI-IO 31
|

This module is used to acquire analog signals from
any transducer after suitable signal conditioning, or
from any analog source. The analogue input must be in
the range of 0V to 5V DC. 8 independent analog inputs
or 16 common ground analog inputs can be connected to
this module. These analogue signals can be from transducer
interface like, LVDT, Strain gauge, Load cell, Torque
transducer, function generator etc. 16 channel multiplexer
is built into this device, and they are Microprocessor
compatible logic levels.

DAD 31
|
|
The DAD-31 is 8 channel 12bit Analog to Digital Converter
card using 7109 which interfaces with GCPU31A. It has
also 8 bit digital to analog converter. It is used to
study basics of Analog To Digital conversion & digital
to analog conversion using Micro-controllers and develop
real time process control applications.
The DAD-31 card incorporates a high performance CMOS,
low power integrating A/D converter ICL7109.The ICL7109
provides the user with the high accuracy, low noise,
low drift, versatility and economy of the 12-bit Dual
slope integrating A/D converter. It is provided with
Direct mode and UART handshake mode. The output data
(12 bits, polarity and over range) may be directly accessed
under control of two byte enable inputs and chip select
input for a simple parallel bus interface. The RUN/HOLD
input and status output allow monitoring and control
of conversion timing. Here it is used in direct mode.
The PCB track design is shielded to keep low noise
level in the analog paths and this card gives stable
analog input readings.
